HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

It is Uniwide Drilling Co. Ltd. Health and Safety Policy that no job is so important and no service so urgent, that we cannot take time to perform our work safely, and in an environmentally conscientious manner.

Safety Goals
With this policy as a framework, Uniwide Drilling instills an ongoing safety consciousness within our employees, where the ultimate elimination of occupational injuries and illnesses is always our primary goal.

Individual Responsibilities
While our company prioritizes safety, it is the professionalism of our staff, and their commitment to the health and safety of themselves and those around them that gives Uniwide Drilling its tremendous safety record.

Our employees are commited to knowing and following all Health and Safety Rules, Policies and Procedures for the areas and sites in which they are working.  In addition, all employees participate in safety training programs, are fitted for and trained in the appropriate use of all applicable personal protective equipement (PPE), and are educated in the hazards of the materials and equipment they work with.

Plan all work to avoid risk of accident or injury
While training and knowledge are only a part of the equation, our staff constantly evaluate the working conditions, and potential hazards at every point of the job and on every site. Risks are also reduced through the use of good judgement and the continual maintenance of a safe work environment throughout the drilling process. Prior to each job, and at the beginning of every day, all tools and equipment are inspected to ensure safe and proper use.

As an additional insurance of safety to our employees and those around them, each member of our team takes part in annual drug and alcohol testing.
